I love when I can create recipes with items I always have on hand. This recipe is great to make for a full meal (I recommend doubling or tripling the recipe and baking in the oven) or for a quick lunch/appetizer. You can get creative as well and add seasonings or change up the cheese you use! Very customizable, budget friendly, tasty, and kid approved! Chicken Fritters
Ingredients
1 can (12.5oz) chicken, drained
1 egg
1/2c cheddar (or cheese of choice)
Directions
Drain chicken very well and roughly chop so no chunks remain. Mix all ingredients together and form into 9 small fritters (about a tablespoon). Spray air fryer basket to prevent sticking and place fritters in air fryer at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
If baking in oven, cook at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serve plain or with your favorite dipping sauce. To spice up your fritters, experiment with seasonings and different cheeses!
