Instant Pot Meatballs & Smokies

As a boy mom, we love BALLS & WEINERS! Haha, but seriously, this recipe is so simple, cost effective, tasty and can be taken on the go whether you need to bring the main course, side dish or an appetizer!


If you like more flavor, you can use your favorite BBQ sauce, add hot sauce or throw some seasonings in there. I was in a hurry so I kept this super simple and everyone loved it!

Instant Pot BBQ Meatballs and Smokies

Ingredients

1/2c Water 32oz Frozen meatballs 14oz Lit’l Smokies 1/2c bbq sauce (more/less to taste) 1 can crushed pineapple


Directions

Dump ingredients in the following order: Add water, frozen meatballs, bbq sauce, lit’l smokies, bbq sauce, crushed pineapple (with juices). DO NOT stir or mix.


Secure the lid, seal the valve and PRESSURE COOK (Manual) on HIGH for 5 mins. Once the cooking cycle is over the instant pot will begin to beep, immediately perform a quick release by manually moving the valve from the sealing to the venting position. Open the lid carefully when the metal pin on top of the lid drops.


Hit the SAUTE function & keep it on LOW heat. Give everything in the pot a quick stir. Simmer the sauce stirring often to thicken it to your preferred consistency.
